What we do
ClearHire is an employer-side compliance advisory for Malaysian employers hiring foreign workers. That means we check your file before it goes in, we publish where every figure came from, and we work for you — not for the agency.
Kementerian Dalam Negeri, printed on the application form
“Permohonan yang tidak lengkap, tidak teratur dan tidak menepati kriteria yang telah ditetapkan akan DITOLAK.”
Applications that are incomplete, disorderly, or do not meet the criteria will be REJECTED.
See the twelve documents, and where files actually dieEvery approved sector
Coverage designed around what you actually do.
The nine steps are the same in every sector. The document list and the levy are not — and that is exactly where applications get rejected.
The difference is who we work for.
We are not going to tell you what any other firm does — we do not know, and neither does anyone claiming to. Here is our own side. Ask everyone else the same questions.
How it often goes
- You are told what it costs, not how it was worked out
- The adviser is paid by the agency placing the workers
- The quote arrives as one number
- You find out a document was missing after it is submitted
How we do it
- Every figure carries its authority and the date we checked it
- We are paid on your side of the table, and the amount is printed above our findings
- Government charges and our fee are separate lines
- You get the gaps in writing before anything is submitted
How it works
Three steps. You pay nothing.
- 1
Tell us what you need
Your CIDB grade, how many workers you have, how many you need, and where you are now. Four questions, 90 seconds, no name or phone number.
- 2
We work out where you stand
We check your position against the current rules and find what is missing, what is wrong, and what it will cost you.
- 3
You get it in writing
About six pages, in 1 working day. What to fix, what the government will charge you, how long it takes, and exactly what to do next.
Keep the report whether you use us or not. Show it to any agent. Use it to argue about a quote. We ask for nothing back.
Two ways to start
Check it yourself, or talk to a person.
Run the free check
Four questions and you see it on screen: whether you qualify, which way you apply, what the government will charge you, and the one document to get next. Nothing reaches us unless you press the button.
Best for
Anyone who wants an answer now and would rather not be sold to.
Send us your file
Send what you have — your documents, or a quote another firm has given you — and we go through it against the government checklist and come back in writing. Free, and you keep it either way.
Best for
Anyone already talking to an agent, or anyone whose situation is more complicated than four questions.
What we publish
We have no clients yet. So check the record instead.
There are no testimonials on this site because there is nobody to quote. What there is instead is everything we have published, which you can check without asking us anything.
Your report
What you get back.
A written report, about six pages, in 1 working day. Free. You do not have to call us to get it.
It is yours to keep. Show it to any agency. Use it to argue about a quote. Take it to someone else. We ask for nothing back.

What we will not do
Five promises.
Each one matches a way employers lost money last time round. Hold us to them. Hold everyone else to them too.
Ten checks you can run on any firm, including usWe never promise you will be approved
Four agencies decide, against published rules. Nobody can speed that up or go around it — not us, not anyone quoting you. What a firm can honestly sell is help getting the file right. If someone hints at more, ask them to put it in the contract and watch what happens.
We never hold your money
Levies, bonds and government fees are paid by you, straight to the official portals. We do not collect them or hold them for you.
The employer pays, never the worker
Hiring costs belong to the employer. We will not take on a job set up to charge the worker, and we will tell you if a quote you have been given does that.
We never touch worker documents
Passports and permits stay with the licensed agency and the worker. We advise you. We are not a document handler.
We write down our mistakes
Get something wrong in your file and you get a corrected one, marked and dated. Get something wrong on this site and it goes in our public list. That list already has two entries.

Know the government’s numbers before anyone quotes you a price.

If you know these, nobody can give you one big price and talk you out of asking what is inside it.

Straight answers
The questions people ask us.
You can, and the application goes in your own company name either way. The problem is that four agencies review it and they do not fix mistakes for you — a weak file costs you a full cycle, which is months. We tell you what is wrong before you send it.
